Event Details

The Goa Project is an event that is of the people, for the people, and by the people. We are taking the plodding, predictable nature of conferences and throwing it out the window. No fixed agenda for breakout sessions. No keynote speakers who talk at you for an hour, then run away. No audience member so bored with the content that they resort to playing Angry Birds.

TGP is a hybrid of workshops, teach-ins, and roundtables - tossed together with a cocktail of jam sessions, exhibitions, and show-and-tell. The agenda is created by the attendees at before and at the event. Everyone who shows up is a potential speaker, and those who don’t speak contribute by posting photos, blog entries, podcasts, and video clips of the proceedings.

Of course, we’ll have a couple of kickass keynotes. The kind of people who have broken barriers their whole lives, crossing personal and professional boundaries as part of their routine. These people inspired the birth of The Goa Project, so we’ll get your blood pumping through their shared stories. Then the rest is up to us.

We’ve got only two rules: First, no passive attendees, only participants. You’re at the event because we believe your opinions and experiences are valuable. And we want access to your thoughts. Second, if you find a session boring or they’re not motivated to contribute, get up and go somewhere else. This will keep us all on our toes (No pun intended).

TGP will have six tracks. Performing Arts and Music, Fringe, Film, Society, Visual Arts, and Entrepreneurism. You can be part all of them, one of them, or none of them.
